(based on a recipe in The
Sunset Vegetable Cook Book, 1973)
3/4 c olive oil or salad oil
6 T lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
6 to 8 anchovy fillets, chopped
3/4 t pepper
1-1/2 t Worcestershire sauce
Stir everything together in a small bowl. It's not really Caesar dressing without the anchovies, but you can leave them out if you don't have them.
